General Information
- It is not necessary to present a paper in order to attend the Scientific Session.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in the session program.
- The presenting author for papers and posters must register for the OPS meeting.
- Acceptance / Rejection notices will be sent within four weeks of receipt of abstracts.
- Presentations are limited to 10 minutes.
First Author
- The First Author must be the presenting author.
- Please enter the author's name as it should appear in the session program.
- An e-mail address is required for electronic submissions.
- The First Author must register for the OPS meeting.
Secondary Authors
- Up to five (5) secondary authors and their institutions will be listed in the session program.
Presentation Preference
- Paper Only: Check this box to present a paper from the podium. The Abstract Review Committee will group papers into sessions based on content.
- Poster Only: Check this box to present a poster. Pin boards will be available for poster presentation. Posters must be no larger than 36in x 60in (900mm x 1500mm) including titles.
- Paper and Poster: You may elect to present from the podium and make a poster presentation of the same abstract. The Abstract Review Committee may request that the presentation be limited to one or the other, depending upon content and space/time restrictions.
Abstract or Case Description
- Abstracts must be in English.
- Abstracts must be typed in either 10 or 12 point font.
- Abstracts must fit within the space provided and will be reproduced "as is" from the forms.
- Abstracts must follow the standard format of Purpose, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions.
Abstract Submission
- Abstracts must be received by the Abstract Review Committee no later than 1 September 2009.
- "Submit" will cause your abstract to be forwarded to a committee member for review.
